Abdul, a finance major from the Dhillon School of Business brings strong research and analytical skills to our team. Abdul has a keen interest in business development and strategy, and has applied this in a Business Strategy Internship with our organization where he conducted competitive market research and analysis, appraising the data for technology solutions and contributing data driven insights into business strategy.

In 2019, Abdul received the award for outstanding academic achievement in Finance, Students’ Union Quality Initiatives Scholarship, and the John Gill Memorial Bursary. His leadership, initiative and collaboration skills have also been demonstrated in his various volunteer roles. These included a position as Research Analyst with RBC Dominion Securities where he assisted the wealth management team research USD/CAD exchange rate risks for portfolio optimization, and leading the CME University Trading Challenge team where firsthand techniques were used to price and trade various products from multiple asset classes, making over $200K in profit.

Like his passion for the NBA, NHL and ATP, Abdul shares an equally passionate hunger for continuous learning and helping organizations enhance their leadership capacity while managing risk.
